Make in India launched on September 25, 2014, is an initiative to facilitate investment, foster innovation, build best in class manufacturing infrastructure, make doing business easier, and enhance skill development. Make in India (MII) was one of the first ‘Vocal for Local’ initiatives that introduced the world to India’s manufacturing sector. The “Make in India” initiative is built on four pillars identified to boost entrepreneurship in India, not just in manufacturing but also in other sectors. New Processes, New Infrastructure, New Sectors, and New Mindset are the four pillars of Make in India.
